The kinematic mirror mount can make two-axis adjustment on the optical lens. There are two dimensions of X and Y. Various sizes are available. It provides a clamping solution for 0.5 inch to 4.0 inches optical lens. The M6 thread and M4 countersunk hole on the optical mount have a composite structure. This can be combined with most mechanical structures. Optical kinematic mount also provides products with locking function and a product line for left-hand and right-hand use. Optical lens mounts refers to a bracket for fixing and adjusting optical components. Generally, it can fix the kinematic mirror mount on the optical table by M6 screws.

The Application of Kinematic Mirror Mount

How to choose the optical mount?
The application of optical adjustment mirror mounts is mainly to fix and adjust the optical components in the optical experiment. Product stability, accuracy, functions, and dimensions are the first issues to be considered when purchasing.
The optical adjustment mounts series are all manually adjusted. The drivers mainly include fine thread screws and minute cards. The minute card is used for quantitative adjustment. The fine thread screw cannot be quantitative. However, the ultra-fine thread with 0.25 pitch provides higher resolution and is inexpensive.

- 2. According to different clamping requirements, the optical adjustable mount is divided into top wire structure, fixed structure, and pressure ring structure;
- 3. According to the requirements of the dimensions of use, the mirror mounts is divided into one-dimensional, two-dimensional, three-dimensional, four-dimensional, etc.

1. Please confirm your optical components, such as type, shape, size, etc.
2. Confirm the use requirements of optical components. For example the lens usually does not need to adjust the pitch and yaw. But the reflector/beam splitter adjustment mirror mounts must have this function. Besides for the wave plate, polarizer and other components, the most basic use requirement is to rotate around the center of the light path.
3. Determine the height of the center of your optical path so that you can correctly select the relevant accessories, such as post, pole holder, base plate, etc.
